DIRECTOR
KRISTIN LONG, Director of King's Kids Child Care
ABOUT KRISTIN: Kristin has been the Director of King's Kids since August 2004. She is married to Lance and has two beautiful daughters, Hailee and Avery and son Isaac. Kristin's family enjoys camping and being outdoors as well as being with family and friends.
WHAT DOES KRISTIN LOVE ABOUT WORKING AT KING'S KIDS?: "I love being able to watch and have part in watching the children grow in their early years here at King's Kids. I also enjoy the relationships I have built with the staff and the children's families."
ASSISTANT DIRECTOR
MELISSA REICHARD, Assistant Director and Preschool Teacher of 4 and 5 year olds
ABOUT MELISSA: Melissa has been at King's Kids since February 2006. She is married to Luke and has a son Chas and a dog named Fluffy. She enjoys reading, sewing, knitting, watching movies, listening to music, shopping, and spending time with friends.
WHAT DOES MELISSA LOVE ABOUT WORKING AT KING'S KIDS?: "My favorite thing about working at King's Kids is being able to blend in and be a kid with the children. I also enjoy getting to know all of their families. I also can't forget all of the great friends I've made here with all the staff!"
PRESCHOOL CENTER
JESSICA DELAUTER, Preschool Group Leader and Preschool Teacher of 4 and 5 year olds
ABOUT JESSICA: Jessica has been working at King's Kids since August 2008. She is married to David and has one daughter, Rebecca and two sons, Zachary and Luke. She enjoys reading, shopping and her favorite color is orange. Jessica is currently attending Hagerstown Community College and enjoys being with her family.
WHAT DOES JESSICA LOVE ABOUT WORKING AT KING'S KIDS?: "I love getting to work with beautiful, bright, wonderful children, their families and the staff."
VALERIE SHANK, Preschool Teacher for 3 year olds
ABOUT VAL: Val has a puppy named Diamond. She enjoys snowboarding, babysitting, scrapbooking, going to the beach and hanging out with friends and family.
WHAT DOES VAL LOVE ABOUT WORKING AT KING'S KIDS?: "Hearing the little ones all yell 'Miss Val' and attack me with hugs!"

MICHELLE DAUGHERTY, School-Age Group Leader
ABOUT MICHELLE: Michelle has been working at King's Kids since August 2007. She is married to Arron and has two sons, Hunter and Trey. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
WHAT DOES MICHELLE LOVE ABOUT WORKING AT KING'S KIDS?: "Now that is a tough question! Narrowing it down to one thing is impossible. I love my position here. THere is nothing like being greeted with a hug each day and random hugs throughout my day. It is truly a privilege to take care of each child!"
TODDLER PRESCHOOL CENTER
SHELLEY NAKOPOULOS, Toddler Preschool Group Leader
ABOUT SHELLEY: Shelley has been working at King's Kids since August 2003. She is married to Michael and has three children: Emma, Jake and Abbey. She enjoys singing, writing and reading.
WHAT DOES SHELLEY LOVE ABOUT WORKING AT KING'S KIDS?: "I love working with my best friends in an environment where I can openly praise my Lord. I also love passing that joy on to others, being creative and loving the children."
WENDY MUNN, Toddler Preschool Aide
ABOUT WENDY: Wendy has been working at King's Kids since August 2005. She has a daughter, Sophie. She enjoys weekend trips to Ocean City, MD, Friday nights at home for movie night and Pittsburgh Steelers football.
WHAT DOES WENDY LOVE ABOUT WORKING AT KING'S KIDS?: "Every morning when I walk in, the children are excited to see me and begin cheering. That makes my day! Also, I love all of the staff. We have close relationships while at work, but outside work as well. Naptime is a huge plus!"

DEB SHANK, Toddler Group Leader
ABOUT DEB: Deb has been working at King's Kids since August 2005. She is married to Elmer and has a daughter, Valerie and a son, Jeremy She enjoys reading, knitting, hanging out with family and beach life.
WHAT DOES DEB LOVE ABOUT WORKING AT KING'S KIDS?: "Naptime...LOL. Playing with the children and I enjoy working with our staff."
ASHLEY RICE, Toddler Aide
ABOUT ASHLEY: Ashley has been working at King's Kids since January 2009. She is married to Daniel and has a daughter, Lorelai. She loves to shop, scrapbook, play basketball and enjoys going to her brother's sporting activities.
WHAT DOES ASHLEY LOVE ABOUT WORKING AT KING'S KIDS?: "The people and the atmosphere make it so fun to work here. And I also enjoy the naps too!"
INFANT CENTER
SANDY KELBAUGH, Infant Group Leader
ABOUT SANDY: Sandy has been working at King's Kids since August 2005. She is married to Millard (Buck) and has a step-son and step-daughter-in-law, Rick and Brenda. She loves to sew, quilt, do crafts, make dolls and read.
WHAT DOES SANDY LOVE ABOUT WORKING AT KING'S KIDS?: "I enjoy the staff I work with and the opportunity to love and care for our babies. Knowing the parents feel confident their child is well cared for means a lot as well."
JEN HIGGINS, Infant Aide
ABOUT JEN: Jen has been working at King's Kids since September 2009. She enjoys horseback riding, making jewelry, reading and spending time with her family.
WHAT DOES JEN LOVE ABOUT WORKING AT KING'S KIDS?: "I love the staff and learning how to take care of each child."

NINA PENN
ABOUT NINA: Nina is married to Ed and has three children: Alexandra, Chandler and Brock. She enjoys reading, playing games with her children, watching her boys play sports, scrapbooking and volunteering at Greenbrier Elementary.
WHAT DOES NINA LOVE ABOUT WORKING AT KING'S KIDS?: "I don't look at King's Kids like it's work! I am blessed to be apart of the family's lives here. I love to come here and interact, wipe a tear, hug a child and try to make a difference in these children's lives. I pray I do."
